📱 Kiosk: PIN login & self-checkout

Kiosk mode turns a device into a dedicated full-screen register — cashiers sign in with their own user PIN.

Opening the Register

• From the device landing page, tap Open Register
• You'll see the PIN pad — enter your user PIN to sign in
• The register opens with your name as the cashier

User PINs

• Each team member has a 4–6 digit PIN set by a company admin (Companies → Team → Set PIN)
• PINs are unique per user — no two people share one
• Your PIN is your identity: it stamps your name on every order and receipt

Locking the Screen

When your shift ends, tap the Lock button on the register top bar. The screen returns to the PIN pad — the next cashier signs in with their own PIN. This keeps every sale attributed to the right person.

Works Offline

The register keeps working even if the internet goes down. Sales are stored on the device and sync automatically when the connection returns. Your user directory is cached on the device, so PIN login works offline too.
