The register is built to keep selling even when the internet drops. Here's how it works.
How It Works
- Your device caches the catalog, user directory, and company config
- Sales made offline are stored securely on the device
- When the connection returns, orders sync automatically โ nothing to press
PIN Login Offline
Cashiers still sign in with their user PIN while offline. While the device is online the server issues it a short-lived, device-bound PIN credential (6 hours by default); with the link down the register verifies the typed PIN on the device. Orders are stamped with the cashier's name either way.
What Needs Internet
- First-time device provisioning (the initial setup)
- Adding products, editing the catalog, or managing the team
- Multi-device sync โ until the device reconnects, only that device sees its local sales
Check Sync Status
Settings โ Deployment Readiness shows when the device last synced. If it's been more than 24 hours, check the device's internet connection.
๐ Offline mode is a Business+ feature. On Free/Starter plans the register requires a connection.
