The Counter can be deliberately quiet. When it is, it says so on screen — a named state, not silence that looks like a fault.
The states you'll see
- Asleep — Sleep/DND is on; notifications are held and resume at the next opening time
- Outside working hours — today's hours have ended, or it is a closed day
- Open — nothing is held
Sleep pauses GCash services
- While asleep, Cash In / Cash Out / Buy Load / Pay Bills are dimmed and unavailable — the bar says why
- A service already started is allowed to finish — the till never blocks a transaction in flight
- Services return the moment Sleep ends — nothing stays disabled
Setting it
- Open Settings → Working hours & Sleep
- Set the opening and closing time and tick the days you are open
- Tick Sleep now to quiet the till on purpose (for example, while you step out)
💡 A held notification is never dropped — it is written, and shown the moment the till wakes.
