The Register is a full-screen, touch-optimized interface for tablets and touchscreens.
Layout
- Left panel — search bar, scanned items, and quick-add buttons
- Right panel — product details, cart, totals, and payment
Finding Products
- Type in the search bar to find products by name or barcode
- Use the camera button to scan a barcode with the device camera
- Plug in a USB barcode scanner and scans add items automatically
Managing the Cart
- Use + and − to adjust quantities
- Toggle coupon checkboxes on items that qualify
- Set a quantity to 0 to remove an item
Completing a Sale
- Choose a payment method: Cash, Card, or Mobile
- Confirm in the payment popup
- The order is saved automatically and appears in Orders
Receipts
Receipts show your company name, items, totals, and the cashier who rang up the sale. Reprint any receipt from the Orders screen.
If you have a thermal printer connected, receipts print automatically. Set it up under Settings → Thermal Receipt Printer.
Language & Receipts
- Saflio Counter speaks four languages: English, Tagalog, Bisaya (Cebuano), and Spanish. Pick yours with the language selector in the register.
- The whole interface switches instantly, and the printed receipt follows the register language — choose Tagalog and the slip reads Sukli, Halagang Binayad, and Salamat po!
- Spanish receipts print without accent marks (e.g. Devolucion, Efectivo) so every thermal printer can render them correctly.
- A new device starts in the language set for its store (Settings → Stores → Default language), so a Bisaya-speaking store only sets it once. Each till can still switch, and that choice sticks.
💡 Every receipt label (Receipt, Change, Tax, Total, Cashier…) follows the register language. Product names print exactly as they're written in your catalog.
💡 The cashier name on the receipt comes from the PIN you signed in with — sign in with your own PIN so your name is stamped on every sale.
