🚀 Getting Started
Set up your account and start using Saflio in minutes.
1. Create Your Account
Navigate to saflio.app/signup and create an account with your email address. Verify your email to activate your account.
2. Sign In
Go to saflio.app/login and sign in with your email and password.
3. Create Your Company
- Open the POS and create your first company (the company owner is the only one who can create companies)
- Your company holds your products, team, devices, and orders
- Free and Starter plans include 1 company; Business includes up to 5; Enterprise is unlimited
4. Add Your Products
- Go to Products in the sidebar
- Click Add Product and fill in the name, price, and stock
- Use the barcode scanner or enter a barcode manually
- Click Save — your product is now ready for sale
- Starting from scratch? Ask your admin to import your catalog from a CSV
5. Make Your First Sale
- Open the Register and sign in with your user PIN
- Scan or search for a product to add it to the cart
- Adjust quantities as needed
- Click Pay and select a payment method
- Complete the transaction — the order is saved automatically
6. Your Profile & Identity
Your name, phone number and time zone are one shared set of fields. Set them on your Profile page in the account portal (or in the app under Settings) and both places show the same values — each page reads the value straight from your Saflio account, never a cached copy, so what you see is what is stored. If a page cannot reach your account it says so instead of showing a blank or old value. Saflio keeps one display name, so a record that only had a full name is split into first and last automatically — saving that split updates the display name to match.
7. Notifications & Online Status
The top bar reads, from the right: the light/dark toggle, then Online / Offline status (tap it to see sync status and any changes waiting to send), then ⚙️ Settings, and — only for accounts with the Dev role granted on the Admin side — the Production / Development environment selector. Notifications live in the app: the 🔔 bell sits at the bottom-right and opens your notification inbox. On the Android app, Saflio asks for notification permission the first time you open it; if you don't allow it, alerts outside the app won't arrive. You can turn it on later in Settings → Notifications, or in Android Settings → Apps → Saflio → Notifications.
8. App Settings: build & sign out
Tap ⚙️ in the app bar to open App Settings. It holds your profile, fingerprint sign-in, the app Build and Environment (tap Refresh to re-check the build when support asks), and Sign out — which signs this device out.
9. App lock: fingerprint, PIN or MFA
On the Android app, Saflio locks itself every time you open it. It asks for the first method you have set up, in this order: your fingerprint (if Fingerprint sign-in is on in Settings), otherwise your App PIN (your register PIN), otherwise your MFA code (if two-factor is on for your account). If none of the three is set up, the app opens to the normal sign-in screen. Coming back from the background re-asks after 30 seconds; a full re-open always asks. Stuck? Tap Use password to sign in with your email and password — that never locks you out.
